About The Manar College
A legacy of excellence, a future of possibilities — a progressive college designed exclusively for young women.
A college built for ambitious young women
Building upon the success, experience and educational expertise of The Punjab School, we proudly introduce The Manar College (TMC) — a progressive institution exclusively designed for young girls who aspire to excel academically, professionally and personally.
TMC embodies the same values of academic excellence, discipline and holistic development that define The Punjab School, while offering college-level education tailored to modern career aspirations and personal growth.
With a modern learning environment, experienced faculty and a student-focused approach, TMC ensures that every student is prepared for academic achievement, personal growth and future success.
The legacy of The Punjab School
The Makkah Foundation was established in 1987 with a vision to promote quality education in underserved areas — a network of institutions combining the academic rigour of traditional public schools with Islamic values, rooted in Pakistani culture and social ethics.
With this vision, The Punjab School (TPS) was founded in 1990 as a pilot project, launching its first academic session in April 1992. It has since grown into one of Lahore's leading educational institutions, with purpose-built campuses offering swimming pools, squash courts and extensive playgrounds.
A word from our Principal
At The Manar College, education is not just about books and exams; it's about empowering young girls with the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
As a proud initiative of The Punjab School System, TMC builds upon a legacy of academic excellence and a passion for nurturing future leaders. Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable education in a safe, inspiring and student-centred environment.
To our students: your dreams, questions and ambitions matter. Here, you will find teachers who believe in you, who listen, and who guide you every step of the way. We recognise the potential in every student, and at TMC we help you turn that potential into success.
To our parents: we understand that your child's future is your greatest priority, and it is ours too. We are not just educators; we are partners in your child's growth, ensuring they receive the best education, career guidance and personal development opportunities.
At The Manar College, we celebrate every achievement, big or small, because we believe that every student has the ability to excel. I personally invite you to explore a future full of possibilities with us.
